This song, Carry Me Home, is one of my many new songs written in 2020 while quarantining, trying to make the most of a life with restricted socialization. The song was written off the cuff, just spit, which is not something I often do. The lyrics just came out, and I think you can feel it in the song, just so natural feeling. Enjoy!

Been a lot of work to put this pretty thing together. It gives me a smile almost all the way through just to see the joy in peoples’ faces and the fun stuff that got captured in these few short sessions of filming live performances at Meddlesome Lab. I’ve been helping to run shows at that place for nearly 10 years now, so this song certainly has a special place in my heart. I hope you will watch the video and glean just a bit of the cultural enrichment I’ve been blessed to recieve through such a space. Thanks to all my subscribers for making this sort of thing possible. Well hello there, my fine friends! It’s great to be back home after a long journey overseas touring Europe. Fever Love Arrival is the first song I’ve gotten ready for you upon my return. Tremendous thanks to all the many, many people who came out to support us on our tour through Germany, England, Scotland, Austria and Switzerland. We played many fine shows and met amazing people in beautiful places. Wow. I’m still dumbfounded at the great reception we received. Regrettably, I have not been able to get much work done on the song project, but we are definitely nearing our end! I’ve begun a new subscription site on Patreon! Though I will continue to run this site and put my work up on here for you all, I’m shifting slowly over to that site for my upcoming couple years of video work. My first project will be to make a video for the song Garbage Night. If you are interested to know more about the Patreon thing, check it out HERE!

This new song, Fever Love Arrival, is one of my favorites, but they’re all my favorites, my little babies!! Hehe… this one is quiet and peaceful, filled with a welling up of love passion, expressed in a way I’ve not made music before. I hope you’ll all give it a listen and download it too! The song was recorded as part of the Multibird Kilgore Sessions at Kilgore Sound NYC. John Kilgore is a Grammy Award winning engineer and producer. He and co-producer Jim McElwaine were a pleasure to work with. Both producers are seasoned veterans at recording and made us youngsters feel very comfortable through something that can often be quite uncomfortable to do.
I’d like to give a shout of thanks to my bandmates Shaun Jones, Stan Martinelli, and Dominic Marini for their extremely hard work through this last month, playing 29 shows with me in 6 different countries! I’ll have to go through and calculate the number of miles we just traveled. I’m sure it was in the thousands. Most noteworthy was headlining the Hunsruck Festival in Germany… though all of our shows were superb, Hunsruck lasted the longest and the audience was insane and huge! People were writhing and dancing and screaming and they were right there with us on an amazing journey.
We are headed back over to Europe for shows in the UK and Germany from October 5-19. I’m back to work at the booking desk one last time before the coming baby in November! Wish us great luck with the release of High Diver on record label Blang in London. All the songs come from the #100songs project so it is in great part thanks to your support that this album has come to fruition. The label is already interested in a 2nd album featuring Multibird!!! Yay!! Thanks folks. I’ll try and make another posting very soon with a great many featured moments from our tour. Till then, enjoy!!

Happy New Year 2016 to all my 100songs subscribers! What an experience this year has been. We are all growing and learning… always learning if we allow for it in our lives. I know as I grow older, the tendency to grow more stubborn and think that I know what’s right grows and shrinks simultaneously. In my twenties I felt strongly that the revolution I dreamed up was the right one for the human race. What I soon learned was that the rest of the human race was thinking differently and there was no single way for all of us. Its freeing to learn that you don’t actually have to be the one to single-handedly save the world. The world may need saving, but we can all only do our singular part. I aim to live right by those around me and to make conscious choices rather than blindly accept what’s placed before me by the media machine and every other controlling giant in this world. My little rebellion might make huge waves far in the distant future, just as many others in our history. Only time tells truly.
This song #35 of 100songs, entitled Woggy Woeggy Gwoo, was a heck-of-a-lotta fun to make with Laura Lee Jones. We took turns putting our ideas forth… what it yielded was superior weirdness! I think it needs and can have no explanation, really. Just give it a listen and let me know what you think! This is a special song, not only because it’s cool, but also because my daughter helped me write it!! She made up the chorus “Thank you computer” a few years back when we were just hanging around. She’s come up with so many cool musical ideas over the years. 23 Psaegz and I recorded this one at BlackDog Studios in Rochester, NY… the same place in which we plan on completing this year’s song quota with another awesome cluster of tunes! This one was pretty fun to write and has become a fan favorite even without the recording. People come up to me after shows quite often saying they loved that song Cowgirl. Haha. If they only knew. I actually just made this one up while driving around in the car with my daughter and Laura. I was joking around. My daughter kept on saying, “Cowboy!” but I insisted that I was a cowgirl, not a cowboy. I just recorded it onto my phone for the memory, but it stuck in my head so when I arrived home I started developing it. All the songs this month are loop songs, meaning I wrote them using a loop pedal. I have also kept to a “voice only” rule system, meaning I am only singing, but I’m using some effects and the loop pedal. The outcome is choral, a capella insanity! Once in a while there’s a song I don’t really care about at the start that through development becomes one of my favorites. This is one of those. It was just me goofing off, but it grew. I also have a nifty dance to this one. I’m hoping I can get together with some videographer friends of mine to make a dance video to this. I was thinking it’s about time I write my first line dance 😉
