• Song #44 – Rubberbands

Ah!  It gives me great pleasure to announce that my #100songs project is complete!!!  My goal was to write a hundred songs then record, produce and mix 50 of them.  It has been quite an undertaking, and has yielded what I feel to be amazing results!  I’m so thankful to you all, especially those who have stayed subscribed for an extended time.  This is the full culmination of the project, and I must say, this last bundle of songs is the best!!!  Many people have commented to me how they love the song Rubberbands.  We’ve been playing it for a few years now, and because of the #100songs project I’ve been able to get into a studio with the full 23 Psaegz band to record.  I know, perhaps it is cheating a bit to give you a song that wasn’t part of the project, but actually I’m going to have more than 50 when all is said and done.  I’ve got a couple that are simmering and fully recorded in my home studio which will make up for the couple old tunes that I put in here.  I’m the artist so I get to decide, right?  haha.  This song was recorded at Black Dog Studios in Rochester, also in my home studio Whenland… then we took the cluster of 8 recordings and brought them to my friend Andrew Graecen at Moresound in Syracuse, NY for mixing.  Everyone did such a wonderful job.  I’ll be releasing the final cluster of tunes over the next few weeks here and on my Patreon page.  Enjoy!!

Rubberbands, Rubberbands, Rubberbands on the railroad track
Who put the rubberband, Who put the rubberband on the track

Woo woo, barrel ’round the bend
Choo choo, a hundred thousand miles an hour
Woo woo, this trip’ll never end
Choo choo, the speed this takes makes the cowboys cowar

Rubberbands, Rubberbands, Rubberbands on the railroad track
Who put the rubberband, Who put the rubberband on the track

    Oh no, something’s up ahead
Don’t go, pull the break instead
Won’t slow, engine rolling fast down the mountain
Fo’ sho’, we’re gonna end up dead

Rubberbands, Rubberbands, Rubberbands on the railroad track
Who put the rubberband, Who put the rubberband on the track

Woo woo, get that out the way
Choo choo, stretched across two trees
Woo woo, gonna hit it, best lay low
Choo choo rolls backwards on the breeze

Track road rail, track road rail, track road rail, the on rubberband
Track the on rubberband, track the on rubberband, the put who

    Look back! There’s another one!
No slack! Stretched out in the sun!
Broke brakes!!! We’re gonna hit it, best hold on
Ground shakes! Our little train is done

Rubberbands, Rubberbands, Rubberbands on the railroad track
Who put the rubberband, Who put the rubberband on the track

Rubberbands, Rubberbands, Rubberbands on the railroad track
Who put the rubberband, Who put the rubberband on the track

  • Positively Purposeful – Song #43

This song has somehow gotten lost in the craziness of the past year and a half.  Such a great song.  I’m a bit sad we’ve stopped playing it, but that’s the beauty in recording, you can always re-learn something and bring it back to life if you so desire.  I do love this one quite a bit.  Got that extreme hope I strive for in my daily life.  It was recorded just before Faergolzia tour with John Ludington (my partner in Forest Creature), Dominic Marini, Laura Lee Jones and Shaun Jones at Kilgore Sound NYC by John Kilgore, co-produced by Jim McElwaine.  Dig it!

Work the day away trying to be everything
    End up with only one
Try to hit the change in the air, ooo

Try to hit the change in the air
Even though it’s right here for all to see
Try to hit the change you’ll get there

  • Autumn / Winter Upcoming events for Seth Faergolzia, Multibird and 23 Psaegz

    What a blast!!!

Firstly, I want to thank all the awesome people who made the MULTIBIRD European tour probably my favorite tour yet!! I felt like the audiences gave us space and support to really create wonderful music. We were able to develop and solidify into what I believe to be an extremely moving and inspirational sound!

Secondly, I’ve started a Patreon page for the upcoming couple years in order to focus on making music videos for songs from my #100songs project and webisodes for my rock opera, 23 Psaegz, which will eventually become a full length movie!!! Check out the page and the video! I put a lot of work into both. Please subscribe!! The work will be amazing!!

  • Holy Mother – Song #42

Getting close to finished with the song part of my #100songs project! So much work!! This song rules. It’s called Holy Mother. It’s about how awesome our planet is. It was recorded by John Kilgore at Kilgore Sound, NYC and co-produced by Jim McElwaine.  I’m giving it to you all for free!! I hope you’ll appreciate it. If you like it and want to hear the rest of the songs, please SUBSCRIBE!!  It really is the very best way for you to support my continual creation of art. I’ll be working this evening on a new video for Garbage Night with my friend Alex Freeman. I think we should have a teaser for you by the end of the month and are planning release of the video before the October European Tour!

Holy Mother – © ⓟ 2014 Seth Faergolzia, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Moss that creeps, growing slowly ‘cross a stone
Creepy moss, draping over everywhere it can
The moss is draping over everything it can
It can because its nature says it can

Long ago in distant lands across galaxies
Flew a stone, came to rest on lonely planet
Soon made home and grew from nearly nothing into life
    A home to possibility

A place called Earth, like no other
A place where endless beauty shifts and shapes with life
Some call it our Holy Mother
She holds and guides her children into endless light
    Ah

Take a peek, a look inside a history
Heaven speaks when one has open ears to nature
Moss will creep and crawl across the face of Mother
How she laughs as life will tickle her

She is kind and grants the gifts up from her bosom
Peace of mind when one dwells within her garden
What you’ll find inside her mystic thinking there is moss
A moss that’s creeping over everything

A place called Earth, like no other
A place where endless beauty shifts and shapes with life
Some call it our Holy Mother
She holds and guides her children into endless light
    Ah

  • Song #41 – Fever Love Arrival ready for listening!

Well hello there, my fine friends!  It’s great to be back home after a long journey overseas touring Europe.  Fever Love Arrival is the first song I’ve gotten ready for you upon my return.  Tremendous thanks to all the many, many people who came out to support us on our tour through Germany, England, Scotland, Austria and Switzerland.  We played many fine shows and met amazing people in beautiful places.  Wow.  I’m still dumbfounded at the great reception we received.  Regrettably, I have not been able to get much work done on the song project, but we are definitely nearing our end!  I’ve begun a new subscription site on Patreon!  Though I will continue to run this site and put my work up on here for you all, I’m shifting slowly over to that site for my upcoming couple years of video work.  My first project will be to make a video for the song Garbage Night.  If you are interested to know more about the Patreon thing, check it out HERE!

    The song:

This new song, Fever Love Arrival, is one of my favorites, but they’re all my favorites, my little babies!!  Hehe… this one is quiet and peaceful, filled with a welling up of love passion, expressed in a way I’ve not made music before.  I hope you’ll all give it a listen and download it too!  The song was recorded as part of the Multibird Kilgore Sessions at Kilgore Sound NYC.  John Kilgore is a Grammy Award winning engineer and producer.  He and co-producer Jim McElwaine were a pleasure to work with.  Both producers are seasoned veterans at recording and made us youngsters feel very comfortable through something that can often be quite uncomfortable to do.

I’d like to give a shout of thanks to my bandmates Shaun Jones, Stan Martinelli, and Dominic Marini for their extremely hard work through this last month, playing 29 shows with me in 6 different countries!  I’ll have to go through and calculate the number of miles we just traveled.  I’m sure it was in the thousands.  Most noteworthy was headlining the Hunsruck Festival in Germany… though all of our shows were superb, Hunsruck lasted the longest and the audience was insane and huge!  People were writhing and dancing and screaming and they were right there with us on an amazing journey.

We are headed back over to Europe for shows in the UK and Germany from October 5-19.  I’m back to work at the booking desk one last time before the coming baby in November!  Wish us great luck with the release of High Diver on record label Blang in London.  All the songs come from the #100songs project so it is in great part thanks to your support that this album has come to fruition.  The label is already interested in a 2nd album featuring Multibird!!!  Yay!!  Thanks folks.  I’ll try and make another posting very soon with a great many featured moments from our tour.  Till then, enjoy!!

  • Song #39 & #40 – Best That I Can & Cruel Empire

I love you guys.  Just so you know.  It continually hits me that I have continuous support from a tight knit group of people who actually respect my work as an artist.  I wish there were more of you sometimes, but I’m certainly thankful for the few true blues!!  Here are two songs!  More to come in the near future.  I’m leaving for tour next week so things are a bit of a scramble for me right now.  I hope you’ll all enjoy these tidbits!  Wish I could write more… these two songs sort of explain themselves though 😉

  • Song #38 – Waterfall Border *FREE download* – Multibird

How has it gotten so far along in the year without more songs!!  Gah!  Life.  Anyway, this is the first of a whole bunch of songs Multibird got to record with Grammy Award winning engineer, John Kilgore, down in NYC over the past bunch of months.  I’ll be releasing them aggressively over the next couple weeks because I owe you guys!!  Thanks for sticking it out with me on this subscription project.  This is certainly one of my favorite new songs.  It was recorded just before the Faergolzia tour in September and October.  Musicians on this track include John Ludington, Dominic Marini, Laura Lee Jones and Shaun Jones.  It was executively produced by Jim McElwaine.  Enjoy!!

Once in a while you may not remember
It’s all still there in the book of life
Written in the atoms your body has touched
News spreads wide of your incredible life

What would we do with an incredible death
When we dream what we want and then it happens to us
How would we do with an incredible zest
Real is the dream, what’s fake is the rest

Once in a while you may not remember
It’s all still there in the book of life
Written in the atoms your body has touched
News spreads wide of your incredible life

Collision with stars and we take a deep breath
Feel a million miles, forget and forget
All the ways that you are
All the things that you were
Become all at once everything everywhere
You won’t miss a thing, won’t think the grass is greener
You are anything, everything, any singer
And when you sing out with ring every voice
    Do anything, everything, any choice
And when you sing will sing every voice
And when you sing will sing every voice

Once in a while you may not remember
It’s all still there in the book of life
Written in the atoms your body has touched
News spreads wide of your incredible life

What would we do with an incredible death
When we dream what we want and then it happens to us
How would we do with an incredible zest
Real is the dream, what’s fake is the rest

And when you sing will sing every voice
And when you sing will sing every voice

  • Berlin Video – Live

It’s been a busy week!  Doing tons of work sitting here at the computer… first scoring out parts for a really long instrumental section in one of my faves from the #100songs project called, “Wander”.  It’s a really happy, fun tune that will undoubtedly become a fan favorite in the future.  This video was taken at Monroe Community College by a friend on the scene here, Jenn Rekos.  It was a fun TV shoot sort of atmosphere with a whole bunch of cameras and people in a booth shouting orders over the headphones of all the camera operators.  High pressure, fast paced performance… I think I did ok?  You be the judge (actually, don’t judge me!  I am super paranoid!!!)
