OFFICIAL VIDEO for “Garbage Night” (certain to bring a smile to your face)
Wow, this has been a long time coming! We’ve finally finished the music video for Garbage Night!! It’s one I started work on almost a year ago with my friend, videographer Alex Freeman. He’s won countless awards here in Rochester for his fine work. Alex was a pleasure to work with, and he and I plan on bringing more and more videos to you in this manner. It’s really satisfying to finally give this to you! We’re keeping it private for Patrons only right now and will most likely be releasing it out into the world in about a month so please do not share it, but do invite friends to subscribe. I’ve made it my goal to get up to 100 subscribers by the end of May!

The percussion is also really cool because all the instruments were found metal pieces from garbage picking. After finding all these cool pieces of metal that made nice sounds, my daughter and I sampled them and put them into a sequencer so that I could make electronic music out of it!
My daughter and her best friend are in this video quite a bit. From the time my little girl could talk, she was always fascinated with finding “treasure” on the street, be it a bead or an old broken toy or a sparkle, she was always picking things up, just like her father before her, just like his mother before him. Three generations of people who love to dig around in other peoples’ refuse to find things which are still of use.
It’s my opinion that we are creating too much waste in this world. We have so much stuff, just piling up in our homes. Everyone has a pile of plastic bags. We’ve got useless things, or single use things stacking on top of each other on our shelves, shoved in cellars, piled in attics. People pay money for things they could easily find, or they buy it new though they could easily find the same thing used at a thrift store. I’ve always loved creating art using junk I found on the street. Building cool looking things at no cost but the labor.
When I was a kid (as the story goes in the song) I really did collect a bunch of electronics and put them all into a foot locker, connected them all and plugged them in. It is a fond memory. I loved that machine I built. I feel like that was the start of my creative drive, a turning point in my life.
Anyway, I hope you will love this video so much you’ll click “like”, make comments, and spread the word about this Patreon page. I need more subscribers to really make it work, and the only way I seem to be able to get them is if the word of mouth grows.
Thanks piles for your support. It means a ton to me that you would put your hard earned money in as support to my art. I’ll take it as far as I can!!

Song #49 – Feather
Song #48 – Yup’s Birthday
Hello, my dear subscribers. We are in the homestretch now of this massive project. I am so happy to finally be finishing up and to get started on the video portion of this multi-year endeavor. Yup’s Birthday… well, I must say, I actually wrote this song nearly 20 years ago, haha! But! To my defense in this project, I have actually written more than 100 songs and have more to release than the 50 I originally projected, so I’m not shirking on my responsibilities or cheating… actually I’m giving you guys some extras!! In the process of writing all the horn parts for my 100songs project I decided to finally give this song the life it deserved. I mean, it’s been sitting in my back pocket for nearly 20 years… It must be growing tired of constantly getting sat upon. I think I made a wise choice. The band (my band 23 Psaegz) really loves playing this one because of its hyper intensity and joyous feeling… plus it’s a great, weird birthday song!! Can’t go wrong there 🙂 Anyway, I’ve put the song below with lyrics and chords in case you feel insane and want to play this song yourself!! Thanks a ton for subscribing… After I finish the song project I’ll be moving over to Patreon with this for the video… switch over if you can!!
YUP’S BIRTHDAY – © ⓟ 2014 Seth Faergolzia, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
[A – F#min] Hey give it up, let’s give it up for the partyIt’s a mighty fine year
Hey wrap it up, wrap it up like a birthday
Wrap it up, wrap it up, rip it open like a birthday [B – F#min – A – E] Hey the kid’s eye starlight
Young is younger
If you take a kid from life
Young get older
Holding hands and knobs in gently
Making love and all the babies cry “Wa Ah Ah!!” [A – F#min] Hey give it up, let’s give it up for the party
It’s a mighty fine year
Hey wrap it up, wrap it up like a birthday
Wrap it up, wrap it up, rip it open like a birthday [Guitar solo] [B – F#min – A – E] Sorry about that
I didn’t mean it
I thought about it
Nobody means it
When they cause a pain they say
“Why, Why, Why?”
When they look at the hurt they’ve done
“Why, Why, Why?”
When they think about fixing it, say,
“Soon Soon Soon Soon Soon Soon….”
Why not now? [A – F#min] Hey give it up, let’s give it up for the party
It’s a mighty fine year
Hey wrap it up, wrap it up like a birthday
Wrap it up, wrap it up, rip it open like a birthday [D] Hey, go pray you, miss smelly
[G] Hey, what are you some kind of a duck
[Eb] Aw, I can’t stand this
[A] Maw, I can’t stand it anymore
What the Jennifer? Holy Kelly!!
Hey, What the Kelly?
Badadum dum
Eating all the roughage off the ground
It’s a healthy way to live
I call you baby, hey baby
That’s what I said
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah [Eb7 – C7] Nobody can say you’re doing nothing wrong
Just like a baby, baby
Nobody can say you’re doing nothing wrong
Just like a baby, baby
Nobody can say you’re doing nothing wrong
Just like a baby, baby, baby, baby…. [Eb7 – C7] Hey give it up, let’s give it up for the party
It’s a mighty fine year
Hey wrap it up, wrap it up like a birthday
Wrap it up, wrap it up, rip it open like a birthday
Song #46 – On A Roll
On A Roll – – © ⓟ 2014 Seth Faergolzia, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
When I’m on a roll here
When I’m on a roll on the ground
And I’ve found my soul here
I tend to stay alone when I’m found
When I’ve found my soul and I’m here
Don’t wanna go out on the town
Seems to be a toll that I pay when I go out
When I’m on a roll
Everything I do is alright
A clarity of action
All my decisions align
Just want to hold to that path
Keep the focus in my mind
Somehow it always goes every single time
When I’m on a roll and it’s good
I could go on forever
If I just hold on, stay the same
I could remain in heaven
But I trip and fall, who’s to blame?
I cannot claim to understand the game
When I drop the ball
When I drop the ball on the ground
Feel I’ve let you all
Feel I’ve let you all down
You were counting on me to be the strong one
But I couldn’t be cuz sometimes I’m just wrong
I wanna run away from my responsibilities
But I’m tied down, locked in
Living as I’m told, and I might be till I’m old
Wanna live it up, party down
But I might just lose everything if I do that again
When I’m on a roll and it’s good
I could go on forever
If I just hold on, stay the same
I could remain in heaven
But I trip and fall, who’s to blame?
I cannot claim to understand the game
When I’m on a roll here
When I’m on a roll on the ground
And I’ve found my soul here
I tend to stay alone when I’m found
When I’ve found my soul and I’m here
Don’t wanna go out on the town
Seems to be a toll that I pay when I go out
And I’m in pain, every corner of my being
Must remember to be thankful
Must remember to be thankful
Must remember to remember
Must remember
Song #45 – Murder at the Bugjar
So… it is indeed a shame that this man died on that night in the summer of 2012. Hard to believe four years have passed since then… Here’s the little bit I was able to find out online about it. I tried contacting his family regarding the song I had written, thinking maybe they would appreciate that someone had put thought and work into it… but wasn’t able to reach them. I haven’t given up yet though. I’m hoping that through putting this song out maybe it’ll get to them and offer a bit of extra something to their loss. I don’t know. Anyway, here’s what City wrote about Deavoghn:
Deavoghn Hernandez-Ruffin was shot and later died. The 21-year-old had attended the rap battle to watch his cousin perform. Family members say he loved to dance and was a good father. He worked at the Walmart on Hudson Avenue.
He had spent his first Father’s Day with his daughter who spoke her first words to him, saying “da da.” Hours later, the victim spoke his last words to friends after he was shot outside the Bug Jar. He told them: “tell my family I love them.” His brother says he was trying to diffuse a situation, so it wouldn’t get out of hand.

Murder at the Bugjar – © ⓟ 2014 Seth Faergolzia, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
One warm night amongst all the party people
One big fight in the middle of the party people
A single individual pulled the trigger killer
Don’t know why the trigger pulled the killer
Don’t know why the bullet left the shell
One thing’s sure, you’ve gotta lock your door around here
There was a murder at the Bugjar, murder at the Bugjar
Death is a shame when it isn’t naturale
This whole thing has got me thinking
How I’d like to get to a better side of town
But what is real when you run away from it?
Meditate on a rock
Or rock-n-roll in the city
One thing’s sure, our bodies write the same end
And there’s no telling how or when it’s gonna happen
There was a murder at the Bugjar, murder at the Bugjar
Death is a shame when it isn’t naturale
I don’t know this guy, but that’s a shame
Trigger killer made him die
Don’t know his name
One by one, we all write the same end
And there’s no telling how or when it’s gonna happen
Death is a shame when it isn’t naturale
There was a murder at the Bugjar, murder at the Bugjar
Murder at the Bugjar, murder at the Bugjar
Murder at the Bugjar, murder at the Bugjar

Positively Purposeful – Song #43
This song has somehow gotten lost in the craziness of the past year and a half. Such a great song. I’m a bit sad we’ve stopped playing it, but that’s the beauty in recording, you can always re-learn something and bring it back to life if you so desire. I do love this one quite a bit. Got that extreme hope I strive for in my daily life. It was recorded just before Faergolzia tour with John Ludington (my partner in Forest Creature), Dominic Marini, Laura Lee Jones and Shaun Jones at Kilgore Sound NYC by John Kilgore, co-produced by Jim McElwaine. Dig it!

I want to do almost everything ever
I want to do almost everything ever
Want to do everything ever, ooo
Work the day away trying to be everything
End up with only one
Try to hit the change in the air, ooo
Try to hit the change in the air
Even though it’s right here for all to see
Try to hit the change you’ll get there
All it is is all you can see
I want to do almost everything ever
Want to do everything ever
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave, I make a wave
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave
To believe I’m doing the impossible
To live a dream, I make a wave
I make a wave, a splash if at all possible
I make a wave
I want to do everything ever
Make up your mind and go for it with the greatest care
Make up your mind and go for it with the greatest care
The meaning of life, the meaning of life
Is just to enjoy it with your rightest mind
The meaning of life, the meaning of life
Is just to enjoy it with your rightest mind
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave, I make a wave
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave
To believe I’m doing the impossible
To live a dream, I make a wave
I make a wave, a splash if at all possible
I make a wave
Waiting for it
Quaking in my boots in its presence
Awake, I will take a look and make a wave
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave, I make a wave
As positively purposeful as possible
I make a wave
To believe I’m doing the impossible
To live a dream, I make a wave
I make a wave, a splash if at all possible
I make a wave
Waiting for it
Quaking in my boots in its presence
Awake, I will take a look and make a wave
As positively purposeful as possible
Song #41 – Fever Love Arrival ready for listening!
Well hello there, my fine friends! It’s great to be back home after a long journey overseas touring Europe. Fever Love Arrival is the first song I’ve gotten ready for you upon my return. Tremendous thanks to all the many, many people who came out to support us on our tour through Germany, England, Scotland, Austria and Switzerland. We played many fine shows and met amazing people in beautiful places. Wow. I’m still dumbfounded at the great reception we received. Regrettably, I have not been able to get much work done on the song project, but we are definitely nearing our end! I’ve begun a new subscription site on Patreon! Though I will continue to run this site and put my work up on here for you all, I’m shifting slowly over to that site for my upcoming couple years of video work. My first project will be to make a video for the song Garbage Night. If you are interested to know more about the Patreon thing, check it out HERE!
The song:
This new song, Fever Love Arrival, is one of my favorites, but they’re all my favorites, my little babies!! Hehe… this one is quiet and peaceful, filled with a welling up of love passion, expressed in a way I’ve not made music before. I hope you’ll all give it a listen and download it too! The song was recorded as part of the Multibird Kilgore Sessions at Kilgore Sound NYC. John Kilgore is a Grammy Award winning engineer and producer. He and co-producer Jim McElwaine were a pleasure to work with. Both producers are seasoned veterans at recording and made us youngsters feel very comfortable through something that can often be quite uncomfortable to do.
I’d like to give a shout of thanks to my bandmates Shaun Jones, Stan Martinelli, and Dominic Marini for their extremely hard work through this last month, playing 29 shows with me in 6 different countries! I’ll have to go through and calculate the number of miles we just traveled. I’m sure it was in the thousands. Most noteworthy was headlining the Hunsruck Festival in Germany… though all of our shows were superb, Hunsruck lasted the longest and the audience was insane and huge! People were writhing and dancing and screaming and they were right there with us on an amazing journey.
We are headed back over to Europe for shows in the UK and Germany from October 5-19. I’m back to work at the booking desk one last time before the coming baby in November! Wish us great luck with the release of High Diver on record label Blang in London. All the songs come from the #100songs project so it is in great part thanks to your support that this album has come to fruition. The label is already interested in a 2nd album featuring Multibird!!! Yay!! Thanks folks. I’ll try and make another posting very soon with a great many featured moments from our tour. Till then, enjoy!!
